Today, we have a book recommendation for you:
I ran across this excellent book, called “The Definitive Book For Driving School Owners” by Roy E. Ault while I was attending the DSAA Convention in Florida in November. It is an excellent book that everyone who owns a driving school or would like to own a driving school should read. If you’re interested in the book, just tap the picture below to buy it on Amazon.com
Have a safe and productive week,
We are saddened today to announce the death of industry veteran Mr. Rick Milford, who passed away suddenly from a heart attack last Friday 01/20/2017.
Mr Milford was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and the founder of American Driving School in San Diego county. He was also a guest speaker, educational contributor and Board Member of the Driving School Association of California who was dedicated to expanding and improving training standards for driving instructors.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Milford’s family,
Past President, DSAC 01/26/2017 2:36 PM
I have not done as well as I had hoped, or as poorly as I had feared, but it has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your Driving School Association of California President for the past 4 years. Thank you very much for the opportunity.
As my final act as President I am encouraging all of our industry to rally behind and support our incoming DSAC President, Frank Boutelle. A unified and motivated industry is a strong industry and Frank Boutelle is absolutely up to the task.
If you have not yet voted, please do so before midnight. Make your voice heard.
American Driving School added their third Dodge Dart to their fleet. Instructors and clients all are very happy with the new cars. They get good gas mileage, with not sacrificing reasonable performance. Thank you DSAC and Chrysler for your support.
